“Wisdom is knowing I am nothing,
Love is knowing I am everything,
and between the two my life moves.” ― Nisargadatta Maharaj
So much is written about a life well planned. Hell, I’ve been part of and consumed by the Tribe.
But what if…you weren’t in control?
What if your life was already ordered? Or, to put it another way, you’ve no free will or choice.
But think about it. How many of the decisions you made were in or under your control? How many decisions turned out precisely the way you envisaged?
Of course, you might think this point — and many more I’ve raised — complete lunacy, but in the end you’re either drawn to something or you’re not. As to how you arrive at that position, who truly knows.
PS. Imagine, even in times of crises, how life would be different if you “went with the flow” rather than resisting everything that wasn’t to your assumed liking.
